Plant Information
Carnivorous plants are fascinating to sprout and grow.  They will form tiny traps their first year and grow larger and larger each year after!  It is important to only use distilled water when growing them as the minerals and salts in any other water will kill them.  These plants are perennials.  When they start dying down, remove any dead foliage and let the soil dry out. Give them a little distilled water and put the entire Mouse Garden in your refrigerator for 6-8 weeks. This mimics the dry, cold period they would experience in nature.  Then, bring it out and saturate with distilled water and place in bright, indirect light and the plants will pop up again, even bigger and better than the prior year! Never feed your plants any raw meat.  You can feed them tiny amounts of cooked meat when they get larger.  When grown properly, your Meat-Eating Mouse Garden will flourish for years!
