While the pods are wide & flat & stringless you will notice a difference from the Italian Romas of a similar shape & also from standard wax beans or regular green beans. Dragon's Tongue can be enjoyed as a fresh snap bean or as a dried shelled bean for a countless number of culinary uses. The sturdy bushy plants are well suited to container growing, & are quite prolific, producing a large # of beans & continuing to produce until freeze for an abundant harvest.
