A member of the olive family, the privet has dense, glossy , evergreen leaves, perfect for a year-round living privacy screen. They grow quickly, tolerate drought well, & are not picky about soil type. Privet's fragrant spring flowers are quite lovely, & birds will love munching on the ornamental berries in the autumn.
