OTHER: Sargent’s Crab Apple is very ornamental & provides great color throughout the seasons. It begins in spring with pink & red flower buds that open into white flowers. The flowers are fragrant, & will attract butterflies & HUMMINGBIRDS to your garden. As fall approaches, the flowers turn to showy dark red berries that will have the birds returning! The leaves add to the show by turning shades of yellow & orange. It offers a wide variety of planting & growing options too! It is considered to be is dwarf tree or hedge. You can prune it into a tree with a single trunk, or allow it to branch out & form a hedge. This crab apple will tolerate any soil conditions except sand. They also grow well in containers & are a popular choice for bonsai.
