Rudbeckias are not picky about soil type & can grow in heavy clays or rocky soil, tolerate drought with ease, & are deer & rabbit resistant. Use them for bedding, borders, in wildflower plantings, or grow them in containers. They attract bees & butterflies, & birds just love to munch on their seeds in the fall. In addition to their extremely long bloom time, Marmalade's long lasting blooms make great cut or dried flowers too!
