TDS Meter Description
Ensure optimal water quality for your carnivorous plants with this water tester, designed for precision and efficiency. It comes equipped with advanced microprocessor technology and delivers accurate readings from 0 to 999 ppm in as little as 5 seconds which will display clearly on the LCD screen. It's very easy to use, it has an 'ON/OFF' button for activation and a 'HOLD' button to lock in the results on the display. Powered by two 1.5V batteries, it conserves energy with an automatic shut-off after 5 minutes of inactivity. The LCD screen also ensures effortless readability, making this tester a reliable tool for monitoring dissolved solids in water.
Use this TDS meter for measuring all different types of water. You can measure tap water, rain water, well water, lake/river/stream water. If you are unsure how much total dissolved solids in any water source, you can measure with the TDS meter.
Keep in mind, when measuring water that has been ran through any type of soil, tanins can trigger the meter but do not harm your venus flytrap or other carnivorous plants. This is only when the meter is used after the water has ran through substrate. When ran through water directly it is incredibly accurate.
