Handmade Cedar Orchid Mount

Each orchid mount is individually handmade from a beautiful, sturdy cedar shingle. Because natural wood is used, grain, color, and appearance will vary, making every mount unique.

How to Mount Your Orchid

  1. Soak the orchid's cleaned and prepared roots in water for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Gently position the roots inside the included mesh pot.
  3. Surround the roots with the included Orchid Mix, if purchased.
  4. Use string or fishing line to gently secure the top of the orchid.
  5. Thread the string through the two pre-drilled holes near the top of the cedar board.
  6. Place the newly mounted orchid in bright, indirect light.
  7. Allow your orchid time to adjust to its new environment.
  8. Monitor root growth and gradually move the orchid to a brighter location as appropriate for its particular variety.
