Author Biography

Pat Benson is the former publicist and rights director at Hazelden Publishing. She was also a national buyer for B. Dalton/B&N. She currently provides freelance writing and editing services to clients whose work promotes personal growth and a more just and compassionate world. She lives with her husband in Stillwater, MN. She was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago. This is her first book.
Linda Dackman is the author of UpFront: Sex and the PostMastectomy Woman, which inspired a movie for Lifetime. She is the Public Information Director Emeritus for the Exploratorium, a museum of science and art in San Francisco. Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer 27 years ago and served as a Reach for Recovery peer counselor for the American Cancer Society. This is her third book.

Karen Casey is a popular speaker at recovery and spirituality conferences throughout the country. She is the author of 20 plus books, including Each Day a New Beginning, which has sold more than 2 million copies. She and her husband spend their time between Florida, Indiana, and Minnesota.
